Here at Agape one of our core tenants is serving others. Sometimes the opportunities present themselves and other times we seek them out. A longtime friend approached us about how to put together a 5k for a charity close to her heart. If you look close enough you’ll find something your friends are passionate about and willing to go the distance, for Noreen, it’s honoring the fallen Veterans at a local cemetery where her husband was laid to rest a few years ago. Come race day, Saturday, November 11th, Agape will be out in full force, helping with our hands but before then there’s a great need to put our technical skills to use. Working with Noreen and utilizing media resources from Wreaths Across America; we were able to come up with a user-friendly website that will provide information and assist with her fundraising www.waa5k.org. Noreen wants to move forward each year by covering more and more gravesites with beautiful fresh wreaths during the holiday season. For our fallen hero’s it seems to be the least we can do.
